I did not find an email address for you, so I thought I would just comment here to answer your questions.
When we came down the first time, I brought a lot of things that we really didn't have to. Large kitchen appliances, for example, can be bought here. So unless you have a stove that you really love, I'd leave it or sell it, and buy another down here rather than pay to ship it. (BTW, we ended up selling the one we brought down anyway, and buying one here that uses LP gas.)
Bring down the things that matter to you. Your first year or two might be difficult. You might get homesick, and perhaps some of those familiar things will help you make your new house feel more like "home".
As far as the little things, it depends on whether or not you are going to homeschool, where in Guatemala you are going to live, etc. Fill me in!
How beautiful she is! Can't believe she's a "teen" now-she looks soooo much like you. We're getting old ya know. Safe travels to you all, may God keep you safe. Where are you now?
